A little seen Premier Cru from the heart of the Beaune vineyard, Anne-Sophie Debavelaere handles hers very traditionally, with only a short period in wood so as not to mask the delicious Pinot fruit. Pure and mineral with crunchy, tarry black fruit, the 2006 is starting to drink well now and will keep for a further couple of years. Very elegant indeed.
