The superlatives just keep on flowing for this wine – tasting the new vintage released a new deluge, and all fully justified. Juicy, succulent Pinot Noir with a hint of fresh strawberry and raspberry, lovely grip behind, deliciously alluring – this is the wine to show some Burgundian producers how to do perfect Pinot. Sumptuous.
Review for the 2009 vintage:
“The 2009 Pinot Noir offers a good intensity of ripe black cherry and warm raspberry aromas with underlying notes of black pepper, tar and damp loam plus a touch of cinnamon. Medium to full bodied, it has a good backbone of high acid and medium level finely grained tannins plus plenty of berry and earth flavors lingering long into the finish.”
