Long a favourite of ours, Domaine Rossignol-Trapet has moved forward light years in all respects under Nicolas and Frédéric Rossignol. Fully biodynamic in both the vineyard and cellar, the wines have a depth and clarity of flavour, ensuring that they drink well when young but also keep and evolve beautifully. Their 2006 Gevrey is approachable now but is going to continue to evolve and change over the next few years too.
