Unusually for a rosé, but perhaps less surprising given Legras & Haas’ base in Chouilly, this consists of 50% Chardonnay, of which half is Grand Cru, as well as 50% red grapes. Inevitably, the colour is a paler salmon pink, with a creamy, supple red fruit palate, gentle yet substantial enough to be matched with food as well as drunk as an apéritif.
