The first level of serious botrytis infection in Germany is Auslese where part of the bunch will be affected. 2007 was a spectacular vintage, and Guntrum make their wines approachable in youth but with the ability to age gracefully. Floral with hints of white stone fruits, it is creamy and ripe on the palate, rich with fine but barely detectable acidity.
