With 20% of the fruit coming from Premier Cru vineyard sites, and with vines of 40 years or more, Potel’s Volnay is densely fruited, sweet with exotic, musky grilled notes, the tannins only noticeable right on the end palate. Still very youthful but becoming approachable.
