With le Pavillon du Château Beauchêne ("from relatively young vines, albeit over 25 years"), Premier Terroir ("firmer and more structured ... impressive ... blending around a third Syrah and Mourvèdre with Grenache that ranges from 40 to 100 years") and Châteauneuf du Pape Vignobles de la Serrière ("softer, more obviously fruit driven but with a good underlying depth from some older vines") all receiving the nod, the Bernard family should be justfiably proud of their achievements.
