Best Value and Four Stars for de Sours Blanc!
In Decanter Magazine's recent review of the white wines of Bordeaux, we were thrilled to see that Château de Sours received not only four stars but a "best value white" accolade as well.
The delicious white wines of this region are often overlooked in favour of their red counterparts but, as wine writer and panel taster Margaret Rand commented: "Bordeaux's reputation for making dull Sauvignon Blanc is completely wrong."
The magazine's tasting note reads:
"Pale yellow. Lifted, floral fruit nose. Good follow-through of minerality and elegance on the palate; an elegant wine. 2008-2010."
