Bourgogne Chardonnay, Matrot reviewed by Simon Woods

We have always been proud to list Matrot's Bourgogne Chardonnay so we were thrilled when wine writer Simon Woods reviewed our the 2005 vintage in Wine & Spirit Magazine:

Bourgogne Chardonnay, Domaine Matrot, Burgundy, France 2005

Humble appellations from the great domaines of Burgundy remain some of the best value wines in the world. This tender young Chardonnay from Matrot may not be in the same class as the domaine's Meursault, but it still has a taut yet creamy allure, generous nutty weight and a fine-boned finish.
