2008 Château de Marsan Bordeaux Blanc Sec, France
Crisp, zingy, citrussy dry white bordeaux blasted on to Britain’s shop shelves from around the 2000 vintage on. And what a welcome change it made from the flabby, sweet, sulphury white bordeaux of yesteryear. So tuck in to this contemporary bold, grassy, green tomato-spiked, sauvignon blanc-dominant bordeaux, topped up with buttery semillon and tailor-made for summer’s fishy salads.
