Chablis, Domaine Pommier is Jane MacQuitty's "Keeper"!

"Thoughtful 2010 purchases bring some of the flavour of a grand wine, at a fraction of the price"... In her article "Savour the next best vintage", Jane MacQuitty guides her readers on how to drink well and cheaply in 2010 by not looking to the "big expensive obvious names ... but for the next best thing".

Of our Chablis 2007 from Domaine Pommier, Jane says:

"My kind of chablis from a husband-and-wife team whose gorgeous wines have popped up in my columns before. The 2007 was a stand-alone chablis vintage and this mouthwatering offering shows why. You could choose to sip it now and enjoy the lively, verdant, tongue-tingling fruit young. Or else try tucking it away for a few years for rather more of those mature, refined, verdant, cheesy flavours — so beloved by chablis devotees — to develop. Drink 2009-2015."
