Guía Peñín de los vinos de España 2008

MasFranch Optim 2004 – 91 points

Very intense cherry colour. Fruity on the nose with spirity, macerated fruit, powerful, expressive with good varietal expression. Elegant with aromas of coffee, creamy oak, fine cocoa. On the palate, rounded meaty, good varietal expression, weighty, full and complex.

Mas Franch Negre 2004 – 90 points

Very intense cherry colour. Mature fruit on the nose, spirity, expressive and good varietal expression – balanced and complex. Rounded on the palate, elegant, balanced, flavourful, fruity, good varietal expression, toasty and mineral.
