Plince 2008 impresses Decanter Magazine

Decanter Magazine recently held a Pomerol 2008 tasting, approached rather timidly by some judges! As they reported, however, the scores were impressive and we were very pleased that Château Plince was a high scoring wine:

"Judges were braced for poor results but were pleasently surprised by some lovely wines at good value prices and with 97% of the Pomerol's recommended, the 2008 vintage clearly impressed. Steven Spurrier even labelled it as 'one of the most enjoyable Decanter panel tastings'."

Château Plince 2008
Nicely concentrated bouquet of meat, earth, plums, sloes and black fruit. Lovely example of this vintage – fresh and characterful with richness and vibrancy. A lovely vineyard wine with a good future. 16.6/20, Decanter, December 2011
