Springfontein ratings in the New John Platter Guide
We were thrilled to hear the news that Springfontein's wines have received excellent ratings in the new John Platter Guide for 2008.
For those of you who do not know about the Platter Guide, it is THE most comprehensive and up to date guide of who's who and what's what in the South African wine industry and is an incredibly useful guide for anyone visiting the wine country.
The ratings are summarised below - wines can receive a maximum of five stars.
- Chenin Blanc Jil's Dune 2007 - 4 1/2 stars
- Pinotage Jonathan's Ridge 2006 - 4 stars
- Chenin Blanc Terroir Selection - 3 1/2 stars
- Pinotage Terroir Selection - 4 stars
- Ikhalezi (Noble Late Harvest) 2006 - 4 1/2 stars
- Springfontein Red 2005 - 3 stars
- Ulumbaza 2005 - 3 stars
