Pricing: Prices are £ per case of 12 bottles, in bond London, unless otherwise specified. Please note that this includes shipping to the UK and landing in our warehouse but does not include Duty, VAT and onward delivery once the wine is shipped.

Bright gold with a nose of lemony fruit, very primary with light leafy notes behind and very little botrytis, leading to a palate of bright citrus fruit – grapefruit – with light botrytis notes, quite simple, not rich but sweet and juicy. Drink 2019-2028

As ever, Climens don’t make up their blend until closer to bottling and this year offered a ‘four points of the compass’ tasting, reflecting the different vineyard locations and picking dates; each zone offered varying levels of richness, with leafy white stone fruits and racy citrus acidity behind, intense and perfumed, with a long, evolving finishes – all clearly from the same family yet markedly different at the same time. Pale gold with a nose of primary white stone fruits, leafy and fresh with some Sauvignon Blanc notes and light spice behind, leading to a deliciously rich palate of white fruit, leafy, with distant caramel, sweet but not cloying and with fresh acidity to the end with well-integrated botrytis notes. Pale gold with distant green glint, with rich, caramel on the nose and a hint of grilled oranges, some leafy notes too. The palate is intense with distant botrytis fruit, sweet but with lovely bright, balancing acidity going to a pure, intense, fresh finish. Drink 2022-2040

Bright gold with a green glint, with a nose of sweet, toasty fruit, rich and waxy with citrus notes, more expressive than most of the others, leading to a rich, racy palate with big white stone fruits, good acidity, sweet but balanced, rich too, really expressive, creamed, with some caramel tones and going to a very long finish indeed. Absolutely stunning. Drink 2025-2045

A lovely colour of burnt gold, with a nose of sweet white fruits, leafy and fresh with some botrytis notes, really attractive. Intense on the palate with racy white stone fruits, caramelised, juicy, vibrant, waxy, layered, just delicious – it’s hard to imagine needing to wait to drink this! Drink 2025-2045

Château La Tour Blanche, 1er Cru Classé Sauternes 2016

Deep gold with caramel and leafy white stone fruits on the nose, fresh and layered with notes of new wood, leading to delicious white fruit on the palate, caramel again, botrytis is there with orange hints in the background, rich but leafy too and gorgeously expressive. Very well done. Drink 2025-2040
