Domaine de Chevalier Blanc, Pessac Léognan 2018
Pale green gold with a nose of tight, leesy white stone fruit, not overt, fresh and leafy with a distant lactic note; on the palate big sweet white stone fruits, super ripe and perhaps not as complex as other vintages yet still utterly delicious. Sweet and intense on the palate with a delicious grilled note behind with fine acidity coming through, going to a really long, fresh, vibrant finish. Ends even better than it starts – and it started pretty well! Drink 2021-2027

Domaine de Chevalier Rouge, Pessac Léognan 2018
Deep red black, not opaque, with a gorgeous nose of rich black fruit, grilled and sweet, really alluring, with more of the same on the palate, sumptuous red and black fruits, balanced and ripe with freshness behind; there are substantial but beautifully ripe tannins, all in balance, going to a long, toasty, rich finish. Really good wine, wonderfully subtle. Drink 2026-2037

Château de Fieuzal Blanc, Pessac Léognan 2018

Château Pape Clément Blanc, Pessac Léognan 2018

Château Pape Clément Rouge, Grand Cru Classé, Pessac Léognan 2018

Good wine, will go far! Drink 2027-2037
