If ever there were any one name associated with Pomerol, it would be that of Moueix, so it is no surprise that their ‘generic’ Pomerol is far more than that, given that it is a blend of second wines from their top-rated properties and other neighbours in the appellation, and for this very reason it is always in short supply.
