Deep in colour, black purple to the rim, with an opulently rich nose of morello cherry, dense and focussed, leading to a gorgeously sweet palate, intense and perfumed, really focussed with notes of leather and perfume behind. There are some tannins, but they are so ripe and enveloped by the fruit that they scarcely raise their heads; this is always so much more than just Bordeaux. Exceptional. Drink 2026 - 2034
