Having expanded his vineyard holdings up to nine hectares from the original 2.5 when he took over the Domaine, Baptiste Guyot struggled for a while with a lack of space in his cellar, so tastings were held in a storage area and bottling was done in the courtyard, but no more! In the autumn of 2023 Baptiste finally unveiled his new cuverie, based on the site of the previous one, with a bright new tasting room, an upstairs terrace overlooking the Beaune premiers crus (which doubles up as the reception area for the grapes at harvest) and, above all, plenty of space to work correctly in the cellar. And to crown it all, it has the best view of his brilliant one hectare vineyard, the Clos du Foulot, which lies alongside. Having won the Jeune Talent award in 2022, before the new cellar was inaugurated, we are looking forward to ever greater things from Baptiste in the future.
