Technical Sheet |
Les Parcellaires de Saulx is a relative newcomer to the Burgundian scene – and something of a disruptor at that. In 2017, the new American owners of Clos de la Commaraine in Pommard, who also own the renowned Rully estate Domaine de Belleville, established a négociant arm on the edge of Meursault, in an old manor house with extensive underground cellars. As the name implies, the focus is on individual parcels: unique crus of purchased fruit or juice, the majority of which is organically or biodynamically produced. The only blending winemaker Isabelle Laurand undertakes is between barrels from the same lot – never across different parcels – allowing her to maximise the expression of both terroir and vintage.

Sourced principally from Rully, fermented for 8 to 10 months in one year old barrels. Bright gold with a nose of white stone fruits, spiced with citrus notes, floral, leading to a ripe, almost plump palate of white stone fruit, a hint of apricot, again floral with a light, racy citrus note right through to the finish. So appealing. Drink 2026 - 2028
