This new wine to Laurent’s canon from the southern part of Mâcon, just south of Fuissé. Mâcon Chaintré is one of several villages permitted to include its name on the label, elevating it above normal Mâcon Villages. Les Perrières is a particularly stony site – hence the name – and the wine is aged for eight months in large oak barrels. We thought it delicious and snapped up the last of it.
