We have been following the Beauchêne wines for nearly 20 years now and it is hard to say anything new without sounding gushing or insincere – but this is yet another stunning success from the team there.

Pale, limpid ruby with a gloriously open and welcomingly fresh crushed red berry nose, vibrant with a hint of blueberries too, ripe and bright with a very pretty intensity. Crushed, primary red and blue fruit on the palate, bright, pretty and ripe, very immediate and so easy. Light supporting tannins provide some structure but the beautiful forest fruits are persistent throughout, fresh and attractive. Almost more than simple pleasure nowadays, this is a gorgeous Pavillon to stock up on at en primeur pricing, and even more so in magnums. Drink 2026 - 2029
55% Grenache, 20% Cinsault, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre.
