The team at Arlot are very happy with their 2023s which gave them some 43 hectolitres per hectare, their largest harvest since 2009, and stands in stark contrast to their 2024 average of 8 hl/ ha. Individual terroirs really stand out in 2023, with each cru markedly different from its neighbour – it is hard sometimes to remember that these vines are in contiguous vineyards, not split across several kilometres!

0.25 hectares directly opposite the main gate to the Domaine; formerly planted to Pinot Noir but it was replanted with Chardonnay and is usually reserved for the restaurant trade. Pale gold with a floral nose of chamomile and white flowers, some stoney notes and semi-tropical fruits behind, leading to a rich, green stone fruit palate, some citrus, saline and grilled, perfumed and floral – almost roses – and a refined, bright finish. A joyful wine!
